FEATURED PROJECT

'FULL HOUSE'

BY JANICE SMITH

For this project Janice decided that she would like to create her own deck of cards based around different animals.

The first part of the process was to choose which animal to use. Janice choose the animal form a selection of 40 different creatures.

Each of these creatures came from a 3d modeling program.  Once Janice selected the animal we opened that animal in the 3d program where the angle and pose of the animal was decided by Janice.

Once the angle and pose of the animal was decided it was saved as an image and opened in Photoshop where Janice decided what colour it should be.

As the colour had been chosen the crown or the necklace of the picture cards needed to be made. This was done by selecting shapes from a selection of 80 different symbols and then choosing the colour and positioning of those shapes.

The final coloured shapes were than added to either the crown or the necklace.

The finished crown or necklace was then added to the coloured animal and the suit, name or number were given to it.
